Around this time I'd been experimenting with different styles, trying to move away from the obvious Simpsons influence. The most notable thing about these cavemen was that their mouths were completely inside their faces, losing that distinctively Simpson-esque overbite. The 'evolved' characters - which, ironically, were drawn in the old style - just looked shitty in comparison, and this was when I decided to ditch them for good. Farewell, shitty Simpsons-looking guys.
